FOX Sports Arizona partnered with the Arizona State University Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication for a second consecutive semester for its "Sports Marketing & Campaigns" class. This class's project was to create a strategic plan for FOX Sports Arizona's digital platform which included developing content and a marketing campaign for FOXSportsarizona.com. The students presented innovative concepts on how to brand and market the site, plus how to generate consumer-generated content using the latest in social media tactics and trends. The winning group decided to go away from a traditional marketing campaign and instead focus on how user-generated content can attract new users and increase the sites connectivity among fans.
